README.txt
I'm Elisha Lucero. I teach engineering and design, build tools for school systems, and keep picking up projects that make me learn how something works instead of just accepting that it works.
My path has never been one clean lane. I studied Cognitive Systems at the University of British Columbia with a minor in Creative Writing. Since then, I have taught, built curriculum, worked on classroom software, repaired and built PCs, run home-server experiments, and written about design when an idea would not leave me alone.
So yes, the work looks a little sideways from the outside. IDK Can You? is school operations. Brielle Builds is local PC help. CCE is curriculum. This site is a place to keep learning in public. The common thread is less fancy than a brand statement: I like taking confusing systems apart until I can explain them, fix them, or make them easier for someone else to use.
what's got my attention lately
Now
- Teaching: engineering, design, immersive media, AI, and robotics.
- Building: IDK Can You?, Brielle Builds, and school-day infrastructure.
- Writing: interface design as cognition, values, and material.
- Learning: Flutter, Flask, automation, and codebase-aware AI workflows.
I like tools that are humane without pretending the system around them is simple. If the map is honest, people can make better moves.
